Planning a proposal can feel like a lot, especially when you’re trying to keep it a surprise.

Here’s how we make it simple:

1️⃣ You Reach Out

Send me a message once you’ve booked your stay (or even before). We’ll talk through your vision, your partner’s personality, and what kind of moment would feel most meaningful for the two of you, private and simple, or full fairytale.

2️⃣ We Build a Plan

Together, we’ll choose the perfect location on the property, the time of day, and any added touches like florals or a styled picnic setup. I’ll help you think through the details so nothing feels rushed or awkward.

You’ll know exactly where to stand.

3️⃣ The Big Moment

On the day of the proposal, I’ll be in position ahead of time, discreetly capturing the entire moment as it unfolds, the nerves, the surprise, the reaction, and of course… the “YES.”

Once the initial excitement settles, we’ll take a few relaxed portraits around the property while you’re still glowing. No stiff posing, just natural, joyful, newly-engaged energy.

✨ Option 1 – The Full Fairytale Surprise

You head out for an afternoon adventure, perhaps completing the River’s Edge Adventure Quest, while we quietly get to work.

The cabin (or a carefully chosen outdoor location) is transformed with florals, rose petals, and a styled luxury picnic. Every detail is thoughtfully prepared.

At a pre-arranged time, you return.

I’ll already be in position, discreetly hidden, capturing the moment as it unfolds; the nerves, the surprise, the question… and the “YES.”

This option is perfect if you want a cinematic reveal and maximum impact.

📸 Option 2 – The “Just a Photo Shoot” Plan

This one is equal parts clever and romantic.

We schedule a couples session during your stay, which means she’ll feel prepared, dressed beautifully, and completely photo-ready. We can shoot right here on the property, at the waterfall, or at another meaningful location.

At a pre-planned moment during the session, you drop to one knee.

She thinks it’s just a photo shoot.

You know it’s the moment.

And here’s where it gets even better,

If we choose to photograph off-property, our friends at Laizee Picnics can transform the cabin (or a forest location) while we’re away. When you return, you’ll step into a fully styled romantic picnic setting and can spend the rest of the afternoon celebrating privately.

This option is perfect if you want her to look and feel her absolute best, while still keeping the proposal a surprise.

Not every proposal needs petals and production.

If you’d prefer something deeply personal and understated, we can choose a beautiful corner of the property, plan the timing carefully, and let the moment unfold naturally.

I’ll position myself discreetly nearby to capture it all, then we’ll take a few relaxed engagement portraits while the excitement is still fresh.
