During your visit, you’ll travel to three special adventure spots near our cottage; each one beautiful, peaceful, and full of local charm. Along the way you’ll take a few selfies, enjoy the scenery, and collect “tickets” toward a yearly prize draw for a FREE two-night stay here at River’s Edge Cottage!

This quest is designed to be lighthearted, scenic, and fun for all ages, a way to nudge you toward some of our favourite places and help you make memories during your stay.

During your time at River’s Edge Cottage, you’re invited to take part in a lighthearted and magical experience we’ve created just for our guests; the Adventure Quest.

This is a self-guided treasure hunt through some of our favourite places in the valley: quiet waterfalls, old rock tunnels, scenic lookouts, and secret corners most visitors never discover. Complete the quest and you’ll earn tickets toward our yearly prize draw for a FREE two-night stay here at the cottage!

Whether you’re visiting for relaxation, outdoor adventure, photography, or just some time away this is a fun way to explore the area and make memories along the way.

📍 The Adventure Spots

There are three destinations:

📌 The Waterfall Trail

A short forest walk to a hidden cascade; peaceful, misty, and perfect for photos.

📌 The Tunnel Waterfall

An unusual, magical little spot where with an old tunnel through the rocks and another beautiful waterfall.

📌 The hippy hole

A place where the locals go to jump from the cliffs into a deep pool! If you are brave and it's warm enough, you can take the plunge! Otherwise it's worth it for the adventure alone! A must-see during your stay.

Each one is close by, easy to reach, and absolutely worth the trip.
