With laundry services, breathtaking views, and included firewood, your getaway promises a perfect blend of comfort and nature's beauty.

The space

Nestled amidst towering trees and the soothing sounds of flowing water, our carefully crafted cabin offers a secluded escape into nature's embrace. Immerse yourself in tranquility, surrounded by the symphony of the forest, and experience the unparalleled peace of being off the beaten path.

We offer unrivalled privacy and essential amenities. There is plenty of parking out front, and around the back, a hot-tub, fire pit and picnic table await, an ideal spot to savour the beauty of the surrounding forest.

As you step into the cabin, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, inviting you to indulge in culinary creations. Complete with a fridge, stove, coffee maker, and toaster, all the comforts of home, there is also a barbecue on the covered front porch. Warm up by the wood-burning stove in winter, supplemented by electric baseboards (firewood included). No microwave or TV ensures an escape into nature. High-speed Wifi keeps you connected. Also, no need to bring bottled water as our water is pure and delicious.

Discover serenity in our one-of-a-kind wood-fired sauna, artfully constructed from aromatic cedar and nestled on a tiny island in the pond. This labour of love provides a unique opportunity to unwind after a busy day of exploring the surrounding wonders. For the adventurous, a cold plunge into the pond offers extra rejuvenation.

If a hot-tub is more your style, we have you covered! Our new wood-fired hot tub is a perfect way to experience unparalleled relaxation as you soak away the stresses of the day. The soothing warmth and crackling fire create a tranquil escape, turning each soak into a blissful moment of serenity.

Our vibrant hobby farm welcomes you with friendly animals, offering fresh eggs and charming encounters with horses, dogs, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. Two guardian dogs may pay a visit, ensuring both security and companionship. For this reason we are unable to accommodate dogs. Though our dogs love people, they are not good with other dogs. Witness the delightful spectacle of our runner ducks swimming by the cabin during the day. For an interactive farm experience, venture up for a tour, including milking goats, feeding chickens, and collecting eggs.

Explore the pristine beauty of Arrow Lake (15 min drive) or Whatshan Lake, BC's second warmest lake (20 min drive). Wander scenic trails amidst the towering cedars, deep green moss, waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. Indulge in the peace of being off the beaten path and create unforgettable memories.

In winter, the snowy landscape beckons, offering the perfect setting for thrilling sledding adventures. Head up to the alpine on Mt. Scaia, just a short distance away, or enjoy snowshoeing at nearby Snowshoe Lake.
