I'm thrilled to unveil this year's personal "Farmily" portrait,

“Farmyard Commanders!”

Have you ever felt like your entire life is just a series of events orchestrated by your beloved farm animals? From dawn 'til dusk, they moo-ve us, cluck at our schedules, and piggishly demand our attention – and you know what? It's udderly fantastic! You know you're living the farm life when your morning routine includes negotiating breakfast with a stubborn goat, trying to convince your pigs to strike a pose, and chasing after chickens who think they're top models!

I think this year we really captured the essence of our lives, wrapped around our furry, feathered, and hoofed family members, in a single frame. This portrait portrays how our farm really runs, we serve them, but in return, we get milk, eggs, and all the love they have to offer, so it's a win-win all around.

They aren't just animals; they're the directors of our daily drama, the artists of our colourful canvas, and the stars of our crazy comedy. After all, what's a farm without its quirky cast of characters, right? Because when you live on a farm, you quickly realize that it's the animals who pull the strings and run the show.

The portrait has us, as their caretakers, dressed up in fancy suits, while we serve them a huge feast. Horses indulge in a bucket of succulent apples, while goats and pigs feast on vibrant fruit and veggie platters. Our loyal dogs are treated to a generous plate of bones, and amidst the joyous chaos, chickens, ducks, and turkeys add their lively presence to the scene. This year we will be adding this type of portrait session to our photography packages, something a little more curated and planned out in advance. Maybe a scene like this, or maybe some other creative idea that you might have for us. Lets see what crazy ideas we can come up with.

A huge thank you to LaiZee Picnics for all the props, and to Shevon Prentice for all your help that day, we couldn't have done it without you!

Note: Not created by AI (haha, I can't believe I have to post this disclaimer these days). This portrait took us about 4 hours to shoot, I bet you can imagine the chaos of pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, horses, dogs and people running every which way. I had the image in my mind's eye the whole time, and it turned out just as I had imagined. I think this has to be one of my most intricate farmily portraits yet!

We are starting to put together our tours for 2024! If you would like to be considered for this year, please reach out and get your name and location on our list so we can make a plan to come and see you! We are looking forward to creating more incredible farmily portraits and meeting you and all your critters!
